Protectorion

Imagine that you have a lot of important files and folders stored on your computer and you don't want other people to have access to them. For example, you are working on a shared computer and other people have access to it or your laptop gets stolen and the thief will have access to all your private data. To avoid all these situations, the best thing to do is to encrypt your data with a password, so only you will have access to it. This cannot be done using the Windows operating system alone, as it doesn't include a tool for encrypting data.

Still, encrypting files and folders can be easily performed by installing the Protectorion application. This simple Windows program allows you to encrypt any kind of file or folder with a secure password, making the data impossible to access by unauthorized people. Installing the program is one simple task, as a few clicks are enough to get the program into your system.

After installing and running it, the user will first need to set up a master password. This password will be used for accessing the program and the encrypted data it contains. After setting the desired password, the user will be able to easily add files and folders to the interface, in order to be encrypted, just by using the drag and drop option.

After adding the desired files and folders, one will be able to easily encrypt or decrypt any of them using a single click. Besides encrypting data, Protectorion also includes some extra tools. One of them offers the user the possibility to store all his passwords in a safe place. In this way, he won't lose any of his passwords and he will also be able to keep them away from unauthorized users.

Another feature is the possibility to install Protectorion on a USB memory stick and protect all the data on it, so in case it gets stolen, the thief won't have access to the data. In case the user forgets the password of the application, he can use the password recovery feature present in the main screen. Unfortunately, this feature must be set after the program is run, as it won't be activated by default.
